CharmingShoppe is pleased to offer this free program to help stretch your budget.

Layaway - Our 90-day layaway program is offered for regular price merchandise purchases totaling $100 or more

Here's how it works:

• Place your order as usual, and enter your credit card information when you check out. This is the card that will be used to bill your layaway payments. We can not accept PayPal for layaway payments.
• Use the "Comments" box during the checkout process to request that your order be put on layaway.
• Your credit card will be charged 25% of your total at the time your order is accepted. This is a non-refundable deposit, and will not be returned if you cancel or default on your layaway.
• We will charge your credit card for the remaining balance in 3 equal payments on days 30, 60 and 90. You don't need to do anything - we will bill you automatically!
• On day 90, when your layaway is complete, your merchandise will be shipped to you.
• If you are placing a pre-order, your layaway will begin when the merchandise arrives at our store. If you prefer to have your layaway begin immediately, please let us know when you order.
• You can always end your layaway early - just let us know, and we'll charge your remaining balance and ship your merchandise.
• Sale items are not elligible for layaway.

1. What if I want to pay for my layaway by cash, money order or PayPal?
   
   At this time, we only accept credit card payments for layaways made online. If you live near our Orange, CA store, you can start a layaway in person, and make your payments by cash, check or money order at the store.
   
   
2. What if I change my mind about the merchandise I have selected?
   
   You can add or change the items on your layaway at any time, and apply the full amount of the payments you have made to the new total.
   
   
3. What if I want to cancel my layaway?
   
   Your initial 25% deposit is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your layaway before it has been paid off, we will refund all monies paid in excess of that deposit.
   
   
4. What if I don't make all of the payments?
   
   Your initial 25% deposit is non-refundable. If you default on your layaway before it has been paid off, we will refund all monies paid in excess of that deposit.
   
   
5. Can I return merchandise purchased on layaway?
   
   No, but you may exchange merchandise purchased via layaway within 14 days of the final payment.
   
   
6. Can I have more than one layaway at a time?
   
   So long as your existing layaway(s) are current, (no missed payments), you can start a new one.
   
   
7. I just won the lottery - can I end my layaway early?
   
   Congratulations! - and yes, you can. Just call or write us, and let us know. We'll charge the remaining balance to your credit card, and ship your merchandise.
